Read moreKalogiannis Grigoris was born in Larissa on 1978. He received his Diploma Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Computer Systems and Communications of the same School.
From 2012 he is a PhD Candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and researcher in the Computer Systems Architecture Laboratory (CSAL) with research interests on embedded systems architectures and brain computer-machine interfaces (BCI/BMI).
In addition from 2010 till now, we works as Laboratory Associate in the Technological Institute of Thessaly. In the past years he has been Research Associate of the Information Technology Institute (ITI) with research interests in Augment and Virtual Reality and of the Center of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).
Current and past teaching activity comprises the deliverance of a wide range of teaching modules such as Theory of Electronics Devices, Programming Principles, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Structural Programming, Distributed systems and Networking Computing. He is member of Technical Chamber of Greece, member of ACM, IET and IEEE.
From 2015, he is member of laboratory for Automation and Robotics, School of electrical and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and research associate of ITI/CERTH.

RAMCIP will research and develop a novel domestic service robot, with the aim to proactively and discreetly assist older persons, MCI and AD patients in their every day life. Instead of simply being an obedient servant, the RAMCIP robot will have high-level cognitive functions, driven through advanced human activity and home environment modelling and monitoring, enabling it to optimally decide when and how to assist.

VR@THEATER focuses on the creation of a fully equipped design environment to offer theater professionals various opportunities and significantly simplify their work. Specifically, provide access to a large database of 3D stage items and will be able to simulate the actual stage environment. VR@THEATER includes several inter-connected applications such as CostumeDesigner, ChoreoGrapher, StageDesigner and ActorReheasal.
